Motorola Nexus 6, HTC Nexus 9, and Android L to be Unveiled Tomorrow?

We know that rumors can grow tiresome after a while, and there have certainly been quite a few surrounding the upcoming Motorola Nexus 6 and HTC Nexus 9 releases. Now, there’s a new set of rumors that place both of these releases, as well as the official release of Android L, tomorrow.
The plot thickens after Forbes magazine announced that Google will release at least one of its devices tomorrow or Thursday (October 16), which means that we may likely be only hours away from seeing both of these devices in action. Earlier today, we also saw mentions about the next codename, Licorice, and the sculpture makers are now preparing a place for the upcoming figure. According to Forbes’s source, the new Nexus devices should be available nexus-6-ev-fullto purchase in two and a half week. Just like last year, this rumor states that there will be no formal event or a large scale streaming presentation. Google will likely announce it silently like the Nexus 5 almost a year ago.
We know a little bit about the hardware specification of Nexus 9, although everything’s technically up in the air until release. The device will likely feature a 8.9 inch 4:3 screen, 64-bit Nvidia SoC and BoomSound, which is an HTC-specific feature. Needless to say, the Nexus 9 will run the latest Android 5.0 (Licorice).
The Nexus 6 looks like it will be produced by Motorola. Forbes’ contact didn’t mention its name or release date specifically, which means that we may possibly have to wait a bit longer to see Google’s next phone in action. Meanwhile, you can see a render prepared by nobody else but @evleaks. The phone looks has a very Motorola-ish look and is different from other previously released devices by Google. We have yet to see whether this render is real or not, but we can remain hopeful that the real device will feature such small top and bottom bezels.
Are you looking forward to Android L and the next generation of Nexus devices? If so, which one? Let us know in the comments below!
